About This Project
Secure Credit Systems is a startup that is utilizing blockchain technology and encryption to provide consumer credit services that are significantly more secure and advanced that traditional credit services. We were tasked with created a unique logo and marketing website for their next round of funding.

Challenge
The only brand asset they had at the time was a logo that meant to portray the security that SCS offers to its customers. The main concern with the previous logo was that it felt more like the icon in the center was imprisoned, or locked up.
Process
These logo concepts are an evolution of the existing Secure Credit Systems logo. Each option explores the idea of multiple, interlocking objects, interacting with one another and form around a centered white space, which represents the consumer. This enforces the idea that Secure Credit Systems, and its technology, can help these consumers gain control of their personal credit. Rounded, softer edges are used to create a logo that is more approachable and friendlier than one with harder, sharper edges.
Solution
We created an icon that represents the complex and secure qualities of SCS technologies that focus on protecting the consumer. Paired with a modern typeface and color palette, we were able to bring a fresh, trustworthy look for Secure Credit System’s future. The logo is accompanied by the modern sans serif font, Source Sans Pro. This font shares similar qualities with the fonts used in the website redesign, but is more condensed to help reduce the length of the logo when it is in its fully horizontal state. The bold weight gives the brand name strength and security, complimenting the bold and prominent icon.
Web Presence
We expanded the SCS brand into a one page marketing website that provides users with detailed information on SCS as a company, its platform, and its benefits.
Infographics
Simple information graphics were created to help explain the complex technologies behind the Secure Credit Systems Platform and how it helps users get better control of their data.
